The brand traces its origin to its founder, Albert Malekan. Born in Western Asia, Albert was immersed in the world of fashion through his father’s boutique, where he cultivated an eye for design and developed his entrepreneurial spirit.
Upon arriving in the United States to study in Columbia University, Albert introduced women's wear to his brother’s store. The swift success of his foray into women's wear culminated in the founding of his eponymous brand.
Alberto’s phenomenal designs have landed him the Dallas Fashion Bridge Designer Award and has adorned iconic women such as Melanie B., Jennifer Lopez, Vanessa Hudgens, Nicole Scherzinger, Carrie Underwood, Zooey Deschanel, Chandra Wilson, and Alfre Woodard.
Now 35 years strong, Albert's collection is a trove of everything from designer evening gowns, vacation-worthy dresses, and luxury women’s work wear. The brand is carried online and offline in a myriad of boutiques worldwide.
